Mini Easter Donut Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Donut:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup of flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
4 tablespoons cooking oil
lemon zest from one lemon

Mix dry ingredients together. Add wet ingredients (egg, vanilla, and milk) and beat for 1 minute with electric mixer. Add cooking oil and beat for 1 more minute.
Cook as directed.
For the Glaze:
2 1/2 cups of powder sugar
1/4 cup of maple syrup
3-4 tablespoons of water
Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated together.
Dip donuts into the maple glaze mix. Let excess glaze drip off. Place on a wire rack. Spread pastel sprinkles onto the donuts. Donuts take about 30-60 minutes to set. Eat and enjoy.
