1/4 cup of chopped basil
18 ounces of spinach and cheese ravioli
1 stick of unsalted room temperature
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup Romano Cheese
|Spinach and Cheese Ravioli with Brown Butter Basil Sauce|
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ravioli and cook 4-6 minutes. In a medium saucepan cook butter over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the butter turns brown, around 3-4 minutes, remove from heat. After 1 minute, add the basil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and stir. Place ravioli in the saucepan with the brown butter basil sauce. Sprinkle Romano cheese over the top. Serve immediately. Add extra basil if desired.
